Defending Workers and Communities Campaign

Protect & Defend is a long-term campaign focused on stopping attacks on the services, resources, and rights our communities depend on. It responds to ongoing threats—from Medicaid and child care cuts to attacks on immigrant communities, overtime protections, and working families—through organizing, public education, and ballot initiatives.

I designed the original logo for the campaign and set the early visual direction. I later worked with an external agency to expand and refine the final identity. I set the creative direction for the campaign’s illustrated elements, intentionally moving toward a more hand-drawn, anti-polished approach to reflect participation and urgency.

I produced a wide range of multilingual materials for both long-term efforts and more immediate needs. Through this campaign, I also helped edit and rewrite copy to make flyer designs more effective.
