PROJECT OVERVIEW
Brand identity for Sierra Bella
Lennar, a prominent home builder, wanted to establish an identity for their luxury master planned community, Sierra Bella. Sierra Bella was the last major residential master planned community in the city of Corona and it was prime real estate because of its convenient commuting distance to Orange and Los Angeles counties. As the lead designer for this project, my task was to build a visual identity around Sierra Bella's existing logo and use it to create signage in preparation for home sales.
I used black and gold and incorporated stripes (to mimic the fields of the logo) to create a sophisticated look that would evoke a sense of elegance and exclusivity that would appeal to the target audience of affluent home buyers. Also unique to the Sierra Bella signage are the dark wood frame posts I designed to give a rustic feel. Eventually, this palette also influenced the interior furnishings of the model homes. Pretty cool!
