Visual identity and UI for Carabiner, a dating app for rock climbers

When I first started bouldering I noticed that many of the people I met in the gym were dating non-climbers. I joked there should be an app to fix that and it sparked the genuine idea of what would a dating app for climbers entail? 

I thought a lot about what are the specific needs of climbers and what aspects might connect them to like-minded individuals who shared their passion for the sport. It led me to incorporate specific features such as the ability to search for potential partners by climbing skill level, type of preferred climbing, availability for trips, and favorite climbing locations.
